Why is my Pay Later for Business account showing as "abnormal status" at checkout?
When your Pay Later for Business account shows as unavailable or in abnormal status at checkout, it typically means certain account actions are required on your part.
Where to check for required actions
Check these two places:
Your Slope portal at pay.slopepay.com for notifications
Your email inbox for messages from @slopepay.com addresses
Common account actions that may be required
Re-authenticate your bank connection – Your bank connection may have become disconnected and needs to be re-established.
Submit financial documents – If you originally submitted financials for your initial credit review, you may need to provide updated financial documents for ongoing quarterly reviews.
Address a missed loan repayment – If you've missed a loan repayment, you'll need to cure this before your account can be restored to normal status.
Once you complete any required actions, your account should return to normal status and you'll be able to use Pay Later for Business at checkout again.
